I have a question.  Can scillas choke out other plants?  Over the 20+ years of my gardens, the early blooming blue scillas have spread like grass.  They are beautiful but very aggressive.  I pull and toss the little bulbs in the wild area, let them go crazy there.Laugh

I have patches of scillas that are multiplying also (but not for 20 years yet).  So far they don't seem to be choking out anything.  But they have moved into my paths.  I dug up one area last fall to remove the too aggressive sundrops and the scilla came back like they had never been disturbed.
