Tell us about the art projects you are working on or dreaming of making.  The computer is a great tool in helping us find inspiration to create GARDEN ART.  My favorite site right now is FLEA MARKET GARDENING.  Winter is a great time to THRIFT SHOP. Looking for the perfect treasure. Let your HEART, MIND AND SOUL create the perfect expression of YOU for your yard...a reflection of your personality.    Have fun this Winter and create something you can add to your yard or garden.   Share some ideas, inspire us, post pictures.   MAKE OUR HEARTS SMILE!Cool

I have never been into garden art except for the occasional terra cotta animal or glass hummingbird or butterfly feeder, but after looking at your pictures and seeing how you introduced that ever missing blue element, I may give it a try.

Rainy, cold, windy day...perfect for creating art for the garden. I am working on a gift for a gardening friend. A wooden chair with the seat removed will be a perfect holder for a pot. Can you guess what color I am going to paint it? Chairs are on of my MUST HAVES in the landscape. Moving color around wherever needed.

Ok, it's gonna be blue, right?  I always think of you when I look at my blue sage.  It is one of the rare true blues in my garden.

I am still slaving over the finishing touches on my cross stitch project.  It is so complicated it makes me hesitate to even get it out.

Then I will be planning on what to use to decorate my new fenced backyard area.  I've got enough junk in the barn to decorate four yards that sizeSurprised

Sometimes we have to look over our JUNK INVENTORY to know what we have to work with...right? After the holidays I hope I get in the CREATIVE MOOD.  Now I will be counting on you to post the before & after with your fenced in area. AND I haven't forgot about that shed of yoursCool, which is sooooooooo nice to have.  That Facebook page...Flea Market Finds can get us motivated, right?

Cross stitch? You must be a VERY patient lady, I don't even want to try.  Is yours the counted cross stitch?

Well I think you are going to be WELL WATERED for the Winter season. Lucky you have a high property.

Elise, pinterest is really a cool site, but I have not had a lot of time to go there and poke around.  A great place for creative ideas of ALL kinds!

I just found pinterest yesterday - I think that it's going to be addicting.  I applied for a login, so I can pin sites, but I guess it takes a while to get one.

Here's a neat little planter that I created this winter using youth jeans and shoes found at Goodwill.  When I seen this idea I thought it would be so cool if a Grandma could collect toddler jeans from all of her grandchildren, stitch or paint their names on the jeans, and then have them throughout the garden so that all granchildren are represented - wouldn't that be cute?  My 11-year old son, on the other hand, thinks this idea is creepy :)
