When I saw this at the THRIFT STORE my heart was pounding like crazy. You thrifters know exactly what I mean! And the kicker is that it is BLUE.Surprised This was just calling, "COME AND GET ME, LARK". Cool  Here is the BEFORE picture. Later this Summer, I will post the AFTER picture.  I paid $20.00 for it, which I don't usually pay that much for any thrift item. BUT, I had to have it! It is about 4' high and 3' wide.Cool

Hi Lark,

What a great find - it will look perfect in your yard!  Do you have a place in mind?  Can't wait to go thrift store shopping with you.  It was great seeing you at lunch - you're a peach!

Thank you Lisa. I am so glad I found you on RMS. It is fun to be with a person like you. This friendship is going to be great.  It sure will be nice if KeyWee, Fish, you and I can get together this Summer. We will have lunch at my house and then KeyWee's husband can hangout with Dave.  Sound like a plan?  I had a wonderful day and sorry again for the SENIOR MOMENT. Embarassed No, I don't know where I am going to put it.  I have a rusty aquarium stand I think it will fit on.Cool

Are KeyWee and Fish coming to visit this summer?  That would be awesome!  More gardeners to get to know.

Talk about a senior moment....left my cell phone on a table at Barnes and Noble this morning!  A moment of panic but I thought I knew where I left it - see, I remember SOME things - haha!

Love the blue bird cage ~ it all but has your name on it!

I plan to be in WI in early August.  Have a class reunion on 8/11.  I usually never attend these things but I somehow got sucked into it.  Was not exactly a cheerleader back in the dayLaugh

August is great. Lisa and Fish want to get together with us...sound like a plan? Your husband can hang out with Dave. Dave is quite laid back and a good listener. Just giving you heads up, because he isn't a slap on the back, jokester type of guy...down to earth kind of guy.  I know it puts you in the middle, trying to fit me in and keep Mark happy. So if you can work it out I would love to have you, but if not...I do understand.Wink

I'm still trying to talk Mark into coming to WI at all.  He is always reluctant to make the trip.  And now I have been hearing that gas will go up into the neighborhood of $5 a gallon by summer ~ I may be taking the train!

Yeah, Mark isn't entertainment central either ~ he is more quiet and thoughtful, always has something churning around in his mind.  Some project or plan, I guess.

Once I get up there, I can use my Mom's car to get around.  Hoping that Mark will come tho ~ he hasn't seen his own Mother in more than a year either (but they are not close).  I am SO hoping to see your gardens!!

I just love it!  You know these are really hard to find now.  As you are aware, I have been "junking" for years, and some things you just don't see much anymore.  Gotta keep your eyes peeled.  The other day at a garden tour, I saw an old chandelier (nothing special, really) and they just had it in the yard hanging on a shepherd's hook.  It looked SO cool.  Now I am on a mission at resale stores to find me one!!
