Yesterday I found a pair or COBALT BLUE fabric shower curtains. These will be perfect for making new cushions for my outdoor patio furniture. It only cost me a total of $6.00. Outdoor cushions are soooooooo expensive and I never can find something I like. I don't like all the loud prints, screaming TROPICAL. After all I am in Wisconsin.Wink

What a cool idea ~ and blue, how YOU!  Yes, outdoor cushions are sky-high.  I recall shopping with my girlfriend for some last year ~ even at Walmart they were over $20 each.  Here we go again ~ I don't like the tropical theme either!  So annoying ~ that's why I quit watching Yard Crashers.  Every single week "join as as we create a backyard tropical oasis" arghhhhhhh.

Hi Lark, thank you for the wonderful website! I found it yesterday and spent hours admiring your garden. Beautiful pictures and videos, very inspiring, great ideas - thank you very much! My kids are already excited about the worm farm:-) I usually start seeds indoors with very high success rate but the hardening is a hassle with unpredictable weather in Northern Colorado. Looks like it’s not a problem with winter sowing 🙂 And shower curtains for outdoor furniture is just brilliant, the fabric is more durable and should be ok for a couple of years at least. Thank you!

Magic, welcome to my website. I hope you enjoy it. My members are VERY NICE people. Just jump right in and help us out or ask questions. Maybe post your pictures. Thank you for the kind words and becoming an ACTIVE member.

I am hoping the needle on my sewing machine can take the fabric. If not my Mom is across the street and I can count on her for helping me. Love you Mom!Kiss

I am finally starting to have some success with seeds.Wink The key word is SOME!  I was always told, don't count your chickens before they hatch. Spring will be the true test.

Lark, your cushions turned out so nice, in fact, they look as if they came with your wicker chair.  I really don't care for the 'assault to a person's eyes' effect of the tropical prints.  Your cushions are subtle and makes the chair look soo inviting.   :)
