I was out and about today and collected a few seeds. Let me know if you want:
White moon vine
Yellow trumpet vine
Irish tassel flower (orange)
These are all really pretty cool plants (I think:)
I would love it if you shared more seeds with me, if you still have some to spare! I would be interested in the Euphorbia marginata, as well as the Irish Tassel Flower (if those would grow in southern WI). Also, I will check my seed stash soon to see what I could send in return (I hate to take and not give in return). Thanks
I will be happy to send seeds. Lark grew the tassel flowers in WI so you should be fine. For me here in z7a, they self seeded ALL over, but I didn't mind because they are easy to pull and are so tiny they are like little orange lights in among the other flowers. Trouble is, the seed is very much like dandelions, so they blow all around. But I am not sure if they will self seed so much in your zone ~ maybe Lark knows?
The euphorbia is a plant I love ~ it really stands out in the garden.
If I sent you seeds before (and I believe I did, but I am not at home to check my list) then I still have your address. You don't need to reciprocate ~ I like to share!
Seeds sent today (Sat).
Enjoy and Happy Holidays!!
So glad you got them ~ thanks for letting me know! Be sure to nick them or soak overnight in wet paper towels before planting.
Happy Christmas to you and yours too!!
Thanks for the seeds KeyWee, I've stuck them in the fridge and can't wait to plant them this Spring! Hope you had a Merry Christmas and are enjoying the holidays
Thanks for letting me know you got them and I hope you enjoy the seeds ~ and the holidays too.
Waiting patiently (or not) for spring!
KeeWee54 - I wanted to mention that some of the Euphorbia marginata seeds that you sent me grew last year: I love them! What a cool plant and they made me more seeds to plant this year
I am SO glad you like them ~ I just LOVE this plant! It really pops in the garden with its unusual green and white color. And yes, you will get plenty of seed. Here in z7a it tends to self seed on its own without storing seeds for the winter ~ but I always do both in case anyone wants some. Thanks for letting me know that you had success!!
