Snow here today. Not bad, maybe an inch. Prediction was 6-8". Glad we missed it. Skies are grey and it is very windy. BUT taking care of my seedlings brings me joy and a little bit of Spring INDOORS. Most of my seedlings have been under grow lights for the last week.
I also have been growing a steady supply of sprouts all Winter long. Alfalfa and Daikon Radish are my choices. Making sauerkraut every couple months is another staple. Yogurt making every other week gives me a steady supply. Bread making weekly keeps the house smelly YUMMY. I do want to try making 'sourdough' WHEAT bread. Have any of you tried to make the 'starter'? If so can you share the recipe with me? I just got done making my 2 week supply of bone broth. So I have been a busy WINTER lady. I just so dislike the GREY weather. THINK SPRING and SUNSHINE my friends.
WHOOPS! Started to snow again. Add a few more inches.
